Obama just hit the top of the chart (literally) on RCP |
|
Obama's trend looks like a rocket taking off since last week. http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2008/president/us/general_election_mccain_vs_obama-225.htmlI cannot figure out how to embed these flash charts. Do any of you geeks know how to do that? When I try export as image form this page I get an empty web page.

1. Bring web page containing the graph up in browser (I use Firefox).
2. Press the PrtScr key to put an image of the Firefox window on the Clipboard.
3. Start Photoshop Elements and choose File | New | Image from Clipboard.
4. Use rectangular selection tool to select the graph, then Copy it to the Clipboard.
5. Again choose File | New | Image from Clipboard.
6. Resize new image as needed (I made it 400 pixels wide).
7. Save As a JPG file.
8. Upload to PicOodle.
9. Get URL and copy to DU post.
With a regular image on a web page, this wouldn't be necessary. In this case, I got the same result you did (an empty page) when I tried the "Export As Image" command, so I resorted to this roundabout approach. Normally I just save the image, resize it in Photoshop Elements, then upload to PicOodle.
