RECORD LINES IN MY DISTRICT
When we arrived at the polling place at 5:50, ten minutes before the doors opened, there were already 20 people ahead of us. By our rough headcount, another 50 joined us in line before we got to vote. This in a district where I'm usually around the 20th voter...at 1 PM.

About 2/3 of them were first time voters, asking us which line to get in for which district, showing their cards and ID's as first timers.

Beautiful sight.

5. Sorry. New Jersey.
City of Vineland, Ward 6, District 2. Usually a Republican stronghold, but from the looks of things, not today!

4. Is your district Democratic? 'Cuz if it's a republican district that's
bad new for us.

7. Normally, it is
but the lines out there were mostly new Democrats I'd met during the campaign. Heavy concentration of blacks, hispanics, and union men.

This was our crowd. We're getting them out there early this year!

8. huge turnout in metro-west MA

well organized and quick moving - more voters than I've ever seen out at 7:00am ever. Voting booths were at one end of gym so lines could form for them. Overheard comments form other voters how great it was to see so many out voting.
