ONE genuine vote cast for the Next President of the US, Barack Obama . . . ON PAPER!!
Yes, my voting place gave the option of Diebold or paper. Guess which one I chose.

So I voted like most every democracy besides ours does . . . how it SHOULD be . . . with writing implement and PAPER.

And behind me, there were clogged lines, one Diebold machine wasn't working, the other ran out of paper. This is when the polls just opened. I can't imagine how they're going to be later on.

We have paper ballots and a pencil...ya fill in the little circle....

In our town we have not optical scanners...all counting is done by hand...

8. Correction
Winterport Maine has boxes on the ballot not circles ...you had to put an X or a check within the box...erasures will disqualify your ballot...you must ask for a new ballot if you mess up....
The ballots are hand counted...no optical scanners...
