voting problems - who to call

please kick this today for anyone who is having problems voting today. This is VERY important!!!

examples of trouble people may have:


1) poll worker can't find voter name in base.

2) opens late or closes early.

3) voters still in line when polls closed and not allowed to vote. this is not allowed.

4) under-prepared poll workers

5) prob with electronic voting. another candidate comes up.

6) illegally requires ID in states where it does not.

7) voter does not have documents

8) refusal to give them provisional ballot

9) voter intimidation, vote challenges. partisan vote challenges are done. it is allowed, but if it is aggressive call for help.

10) police presence at polling place. police are not permitted to be at or near polling place. keep law enforcement away.

11) mis-leading materials- "dem vote on monday."

12) special needs without access. can't read, don't speak english. disabled voters.

I know this thread is boring compared to the others, but it is important info. It would be great if it stayed visible until voting is over today -- either here or on the front page somehow.
