Like you, some mornings I only make it through about 10 minutes. Other days, I have the show on for the entire time I'm getting ready for work. If Harold Ford is on, I'll grit my teeth and stay tuned through Joe's incessant interruptions and egotism, plus Mika's timid and shallow contributions. Mika is the Vanna White of morning talk. I'd like to see a woman with some intellect on that show, instead of another beauty pageant "I love everyone" contestant.
But they do get interesting guests. And I like to see Chuckie T. He's been fairly accurate through all the ups and downs.

Where else on TV, besides The Daily Show/Colbert, do you see the kind of "liberal" programming you get on MSNBC?

Remember the stories not far back about Tom Brokaw acting as a liason between GE-NBC re: their treatment of John McLame? Obviously, it was part of the deal: if you're going to run two hours of liberal, you gotta give us the morning show.

Moron Joe's campaign office was in the back room of a friend's restaurant, or so I've read, and he was known for having trysts there. Same office where they found his intern murdered. My guess is, she threatened to expose the POS and he killed her in a fit of rage -- the same rage that is apparent every time anyone disagrees with him on "his" show. The same rage he exhibits toward Mika Mouse to keep her in line.

The problem is that Joe, instead of directing the flow of conversation and occasionally inserting his opinion, has opted to steamroll over any back and forth and instead monopolizes the discussion to where it's just Joe and a bunch of bobbleheads.

As much as I hate his POV's, Buchananan is the only one who can offer a coherent chain of thought on that show outside of Eugene Robinson.

Morning Blow also predicted that Palin will be back in 2012. What a couple of fucking losers they are. Had to turn it off right after that. I find I can't watch that show more than a few seconds anymore and only flip to it occasionally for sake of amusement in a dark kind of way.

It's bizare to hear Joe and Mika continue to claim Palin is still the most popular governor when her negatives continue to increase by the day.

The reality that escapes Morning Joe and company is that Palin's appeal is now completed limited to the religious / non-intellectual part of the Republican base and that's not going to win you anything beyond a position in the House of Representatives (if even that).

Furthermore, any idea that Palin will ever be able to appeal to the middle totally ignores that Palin's more outrageous statements about "pro-America parts of the country" and the like will follow her around for the rest of her career. Once those come out during a campaign everyone will remember why they disliked her the first time around.
