My voting machine was flaky |
|
I went in the machine and the buttons would not go down. They fussed with it a little, then pulled it back and again (which casts a blank ballot I think) and it worked. So I then voted for Obama etc. This is the first time I can recall ever having a problem in the booth.

1. My voting machine is very simple: my hand, a black marker, then I connect the line by the name. |
|
Not much to go wrong there and if I mess up I can get a couple of more chances.

3. But people still manage to mess up the connect the line ballots. |
|
They do this: ----X---- or they circle the entire name. But if it comes to it, even with mistakes like that it is easy to determine the intent of which candidate is being chosen.

ASAP tell your supervisor of elections that that was the last time you ever want to vote on a damned machine like that. They'll listen.

I used a No.2 pencil to black in the oval to vote straight Democratic. Yeah, yeah vote for the man not the party. Well, where I'm from the Democrats all deserve to win.
