A close Aussie friend is traveling to Selma Alabama today

Her and her husband have been vacationing in the eastern and southern US for the last month and are headed this morning to Selma to witness an Obama win in an historic setting! She purposly timed her vacation with the election.

She was my main ally in the old Excite Virtual Places political chat in the late 90s and early 00s and she is very well schooled in American politics.

There is just something so EPIC about that!
