Is any group other than the news consortium doing exit polling?

6. Just remember, early voting has Obama in a big lead and may not be measued |
|
in exit polls...in a lot of these states, if we're close is a good sign.
Also, the exit polls have been notoriously wrong, at least the raw number % ones. The ones that state how many men went for one candidate or women another seems to indicate better.

11. Early exit polls were off in the primaries. |
|
For example, some had Obama ahead in OH and TX by 1-2.

13. I want exit polls too. I don't want the blow-by-blow results |

being announced all day--that really can affect the vote--but I want a check on our voting system, and exit polls are the best way to do that. I want unadjusted exit polls, broken down precinct by precinct, to match to the "official" tallies.

Those were total garbage in 2004. I truly believe that the Repukes are afraid to participate in them. The massive amount of early voting makes them even more suspect this year.

17. Exit polls will be scewed due to early voting which more heavily favored Obama |

So wait until the real polls close and get real results.

18. I miss the days when they used to declare a winner 5 minutes after the polls opened |
|
I want instant gratification, dammit! I miss good old fashioned rock 'em sock 'em election days. This waiting for actual, real, accurate numbers is for amateurs!
(PS, no I'm not snarking you. I'm snarking myself. I really DO want them to start calling it right now even though I realized ho foolish that is.)
