My Wife's Brilliant Idea - Tonight is Thanksgiving Night
Tonight we are having a makeshift Thanksgiving Dinner.

We will give thanks because we survived 8 years of Bush while many perished.

We will give thanks because we are on the cusp of a new and radiant dawn.

We will give thanks because we have a new hope in a new leader.

We will give thanks for the Big Blue Sweep.

We will give thanks that a majority of the American People were good enough to see reason instead of race.

8. heh....a few of us were planning that in 2004, too. Then election fraud reared its ugly head.
But, this year we WILL have that turkey and stuffing, and thanks all around. ;)

9. I know this all too well
I did election protection for 16 hours and then saw the devastating defeat.

NOT THIS TIME.

11. I woke up early today and it felt like Christmas
I was too excited to go back to sleep so I got up when it was total darkness.

I am a night person and I work swing shift so I normally get up at 8am today was 6.

13. Sounds like a plan
Coincidentally, I made turkey cutlets, taters, gravy and green beans in the crockpot Sunday so I'm all set.

Gotta start planning for 1/20/09 soon....

14. My wife had the same idea.
I think the blue mash potatoes have already been made. (We have a blue food theme for good luck.)

I will be giving thanks that I don't have to see the local, lying Republican's commercials on the TV anymore.

I will be giving thanks for an energized progressive grassroots.
