As a UCC who has had their faith body under constant attack

since this current administration has took office, I have a special investment in this election also.

The right wing nuts got our commericals pulled from TV in 2001 and 2002, just because we said, all people were welcome in the house of God.

Thank you Barack, for standing up for us, when the vanguard that hates the idea of a church open to all people attacked you.

We all have our special investments in this election, and this was mine.

But in the end, you had the best plans to help the country, the best ideas, the temperament. The things that count for all of us, no matter what our religion or no religion.

I am just so proud!

I am also proud beyond words.

When I voted this morning, I took a few seconds to just take in that X next to Barrack Obama. After 32 years of voting, I think this was the proudest I've ever been of my vote.

2. I voted two weeks ago.. and I went out to my car, and

just sat there for a couple of minutes. Just a real feeling of peace to be able to vote for this change.
