over 1 million people have now said they've voted on Facebook!

the MSM hasn't talked enough about the importance of FB in GOTV.

When I got up 2 hours ago just over 300,000 people had indicated on FB they had voted. It is going up every second and is now close to 1.2 million!!

This is the kind of thing that reminds and encourages young people to vote! (although I say "young" most of my friends on FB are in their 30s and 40s!!) FB wasn't doing this sort of thing in 2004, and didn't have the kind of integration in people's lives that it has today.

I'll be interested to see how that number goes up all day today!

2. I agree, this is fascinating! AND, just as important....

it is through these social network sites and the blogosphere in general that people will STAY engaged and make government work for us. We will be holding them accountable and, I do believe, Obama knows this. He knows we will push for accountability and he's prepared to provide it because his intentions are honorable.
