Spent my time in line explaining the sample ballot to the gop base this morning
in Mississippi. Questions fielded:

Is this the election we don't have to vote for one party or the other?

How come it says this seat is expired? (The vote to fill the rest of Trent Lott's seat.)

Why are there two elections for Senator?

Isn't the sheriff running for office this year? NO!!

Why is Gene Taylor's name on the ballot? (U. S. Congressman, runs for office every two years.)

And yet they have the "right" to vote. I will say at it ad infinitum, ignorance is a conservative value.
