Heavy Turnout in Minnesota |
|
Waited in line for an hour at 7:00 a.m. Proudly cast my vote for Barack Obama/Joe Biden and Al Franken. (as well as local Dems)
I work on the U of M campus - the students are out in droves with signs and there is literally an Obama GOTV sign plastered to every telephone and light pole. Not that there was ever a doubt but rest assured MN is going blue for our guys today!

1. I'd love to see Minnesotans vote overwhelmingly for both Barack Obama and |
|
Al Franken in the state where the GOP held its convention.
Evidently not even Sarah Pawlenty can boost McCain's chances in Minnesota.

9. Hey there. We have come many steps to this moment, good person. |
|
And tonight John McCain better wear his thickest pantaloons because hs sorry butt is going to get kicked from one end of the land to the other.

According to a blurb I saw on Moron Joke this morning, MN had the highest voter turnout in the nation in the last presidential election. Let's hope we break that record today.
I'm going to be ecstatic with an Obama victory of course, but I certainly hope we can pull Al through as well. I'm more worried about that race. It's too bad we weren't able to get rid of Timmy the Tool in the last election despite the overwhelmingly Dem shaded victories - I don't want Norm the weasel to squeak through this time and leave that sour taste to this one as well.

4. Are they thinking about what they, in Minnesota, can do for Al Franken? |

6. We almost always lead the nation in voter turnout. Some are predicting 90 percent for the state, |
|
which would blow me away.

I'm so proud of my adopted state (originally from Michigan where I'm hoping they have a huge turnout as well).
And thanks for the welcome! Students are pretty enthusiastic for Al and both Hilary and Bill have been here twice recently to rally the troops.

8. Goooo Franken, you can do it!!! Forget Berkley contrary to belief Franken is way more serious.> |

Don't fall for the Coleman stunt he pulled this before that is a indicator who he is in its own anything to win. I heard this Berkley guy on Alex Jones who is currently pulling some votes too he sounded vastly less clued up on policy issues than I ever heard Franken was while on Air America. Berkley's argument is that he is just an ordinary guy, the problems we face are extraordinary. Franken '08. We can't take Alex Jones for policy advice he's been beating on the GOP for 8 years and now is saying McCain is the answer. Alex sometimes gets it right but leaves a lot of room for doubt as well.
