My amazing experience voting this morning.
I live in a rural west-central Missouri county and have voted at the same location for the past 6 years. We vote in the basement of a rural church and our area tends to be heavy repub. I have voted in primaries, special elections, and national elections at this same location. Historically, there have been times when I was the only person voting when I was there (of course, this is a snapshot during my voting time).

This morning was different. My wife, son (7yrs. old) and I went to vote at 8am local time. When we arrived, there was not a parking place (which is extremely unusual at this location - usually you can drive right up and park). We ended up parking on the neighbors property where other people were parking. We walked up the church and surprisingly there was a line out the door! I had never seen this before - a line at my rural voting location!

The line moved very quickly - I could tell the folks working there were taking this very seriously and had prepared well for this event. Everyone was getting paper ballots. My son voted with me and I showed him Obama's name on the list and he said "Yea!" and we cast our vote for Senator Obama.

I really am excited! Seeing the line at our polling place made me extremely proud as I have NEVER seen a line when I was voting.

GOBAMA!
