Are there laws mandating the number of voters per machine? Is there consistency within what level
of city / county/ state, etc.?

In my suburb of Philly, there is one machine for each 400 registered voters. In my ward, there are two machines.

In line at 7am - out by 7:20. Somehow, that seems unfair when there are so many instances of people having to wait hours and hours.

My daughter came home from NYC to vote, then went back to go to work. That is dedication.

1. Yes, but it's a minimum number of machines per so many voters.
...and it varies by state.

Of course, precincts are free to have MORE than the required number of machines...
