NO! I'm just kidding! Gosh, I'd probably have downed a bottle of tequila by now if I did that, lol.

It was interesting, in the 6 years I've been going to the same place to vote, I am usually the one of the first people there. I was there right at 6 am four years ago to to vote for Kerry and there were only a few people here and there, I was one of the first.

But today I got there almost exactly at 6am again and I had to wait in line for almost half an hour. There were young people, college aged, voting that early. It was a great sight! And people were cracking Bush and Joe the Plumber jokes in line too, lol.

It's Arizona, so it's warm, and one guy mentioned that it was alright standing in line because it wasn't cold, so I started talking with him and his wife about how the first time I voted for president was in my hometown in Montana and it was freezing! And the wife started teasing me about voting in the cold, and saying that it's commendable to do that....unless you voted for Bush, lol.

A bunch of people laughed at that one. All in all, it seemed to be a mostly Obama crowd.

Good day so far. :)

7. So how many votes you and Kurovski expecting?
I had a real crisis of the soul last Tuesday when I voted, but I want you to know I did the right thing. I wrote you guys in.

Well, not for President, of course, but are you willing to relocate to Wisconsin for an animal control job?

8. It's great that the 90 degree temps went away just in time for voting.
I mailed my ballot a few weeks ago. I hate waiting in line but I have to say this year it might have been fun.

10. I'm old school, I love to go and vote in person
I'd etch it into a tablet with a rock and chisel if they'd let me. :)

12. I'd prefer voting in person too but I had to make a compromise.
Using the mail in ballots gets my husband to vote.
We can vote at our leisure and he likes to talk about the various candidates and propositions.
Whatever it takes to get him to vote!
