The Reason that Obama will win by a landslide
Is the passion of the Obama supporters. Every Obama supporter will vote regardless of the lead that Obama has anywhere because they are proud to vote for him.

The reason that the McCain supporters will not vote in mass is that they all fit into one or more of these categories:

1) McCain is an asshole and Palin is not real sharp but I'll vote for them because they aren't liberals. (This is not compelling enough for them to wait in line)
2) Obama is a communist/terrorist (These people are too stupid to find the polling place and for those that do find their way, at least 1 in 4 of these will accidently vote for Obama.
3) Obama is black so he is disqualified. - They drank themselves into a frenzy last night and for the few that venture out today, The hangover, long lines and lack of beer sales in the line will make most say screw it.

1. 4) Obama will put "librul" judges on the court, so they will vote to save the pre-born. nt

3. My neighbor of proof of number 1.
She was all gung ho for McCain-Palin. She went to his Virginia Beach rally and his Newport News rally. She has two McCain-Palin yard signs and wears McCain-Palin buttons everywhere.

I saw her outside as my mom and I got home from voting this morning.
I asked: "Hey, have you been to vote yet? If not, you should go before the lines get too much longer."

She replied with:
"No, I'm not going to go. The lines are too long and I can't stand the rain."

That's one McCain vote that won't materialize.

5. Obama voters are extremely motivated, have and will wait for hours to vote
even in states where Obama already has a big lead. They want to be part of history.

6. and #4... the other McPain supporters are too busy...
in their mommies basement cleaning their guns, counting their ammo boxes, loading their mags, getting their cammo outfits ready, painting their faces, jackin the jake, and getting ready for the dream of a "Red Dawn" future.

7. Reason #1 for sure, all the way.
One thing I've learned is that for most of the general public, if the biggest reason to vote for Candidate X is that his/her opponent is a scary anti-Christ, Candidate X is not in a position of strength.

In 2004, we didn't vote for John Kerry, we voted for Not Bush. We know how that worked out.

This year, a lot of us are voting for Obama, not so much against John McCain. Meanwhile, Rethugs are voting for No-bama, not for John McCain.

8. I don't consider it a landslide unless he gets over 400 EVs....
Which is actually incredibly common in past elections. Relatively, this is a close one. Considering the candidates, that is sad.
