Voting Machines
Could someone tell me why voting is not done via optical machines that also take pictures (PDFs) of all of the actual ballots. When the polls close, the PDF's could be posted in batches on the website for the state department handling elections. If there is a questionable county, the party can visually scan the ballots later that night. It seems pretty simple and we should all be demanding something like it be put in place.

Am I missing something here?
