Remember the song "Tired of Being Blonde" by Carly Simon?
It's been going through my head today.

I saw a girl who works in my building in the corridor, and she's always been a blonde. Today, she had beautiful brunette hair. I didn't recognize her at first, and she must have really kept up with the roots because I never guessed for a second she wasn't a natural blonde.

I told her she looked great, and she said, "I was tired of being blonde, and I'm tired of Republicans, so I got rid of both!" When she said that, the Carly Simon song went through my head and now I can't get rid of it.

At least it's a good memory for today...I'm tired of Republicans, too! :)
