Have you made or bought your PIE for tonight? We have apple pie
and vanilla ice cream for desert. If I can get some GOOD pecans I might make a pecan pie too.

What kind of pie will you have?

7. I would love to have a sweet potato pie, too. But I'm the only one
who likes it here, so I'd be eating nothing but pie for a week. Hmmm. On second thought, that wouldn't be such a bad thing, would it? :)

6. I made twenty pies yesterday
My family member who owns an espresso cafe is giving away PIE today in honor of our pie-talking candidate!

He talked me into doing the baking. Granny Smith deep dish apple, pecan, lots of pumpkin, coconut, etc.

8. I use Granny Smith apples too! They are absolutely the BEST.
Mine is cooling as we speak. And then I'll have to hide it so nobody sneaks a piece before tonight.

Main course is veggie pizza and spinach salad, along with a Duplin Winery Hatteras Red wine.

I'll be blissed out on fat, carbs & sugar when Obama makes his victory speech!
