The biggest surprise tonight will be:
Republicans stayed home...Mark my words. They are demoralized, they don't like McCain, the numbers told them what they needed to know, no reason to come out.

My neighbor down here in Florida is one of them :)

1. Biggest surprise - Obama wins Texas!
Yeah, it's just a fantasy, but today, I believe anything's possible. Most of the peeps in line with me this morning were voting Obama. :hi:

I had nobody in line where I voted this a.m. in Houston.
Got there about 9:50am. But I was told that about 250 people voted before 9am. :D

This year?

Both blue.

For sure.

Might be enough to flip the state.

This is how they do it in the blue states! Gotta win the population centers.

2. Hopefully. High turnout all across the nation.
I remember thinking in 2004 the high turnout favored Kerry, but they were all Bush supporters!

7. I think that is definitely a possibility.
I checked my polling station on the way to work this morning and it was nearly abandoned. Major league red area, as in tons of McPain signs and ZERO Obama signs.

However, that doesn't mean they won't still try to steal it.

8. If Martin wins Senate in Georgia...and gets 50 percent...
that would be a truly pleasant surprise for me. He needs the 50 percent, though, to avoid a runoff. I'm just not sure Martin could win a runoff without the "pull of a presidential race" to get people out to vote. (Could be wrong about that though.)
