the cashier was talking to the next cashier and she was saying...
Jesus knows who will win and he is the one in charge.

Can you imagine Jesus wanting people to vote for a lying angry war monger?

Actually you can get http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chick_tract">chick tracts in pretty much any language... Fundamentalist wackos consider a chick tract to be interchangeable with the bible.

Does it include the Apocrapha? How does Mark end? Is the fourth word of Genesis 1.1 translated "God" or "gods"?
I can go on forever.

and did not give his apostles the words that others wrote 250 years after the fact. Not to mention that they were rewritten at the council of trent, council of Nicea, and elsewhere for political reasons.

should Jesus care who wins or loses? When I was a kid my dad up and carried his wife and six kids out of church (in the middle of a sermon), never to return, because the preacher had just implored God to help the Green Bay Packers.
Oh, and shame on you for shopping at Wal-Mart.

20. I don't care who they support, people shouldn't be discussing that stuff in front of customers |
|
I say that as a retail worker. I live in a very blue state and area but I don't talk politics at work unless I know I won't be overheard or unless the customer brings it up. When the customer does bring it up, I'm polite but don't offer much. It's just a matter of behaving professionally and even a Wal-Mart cashier should be able to do that.
That said, it's common knowledge that Jesus has been campaigning hard for Obama - I got a nice call from him just yesterday. :P

Thats just so good.
I was wearing my Obama shirt yesterday and Repuke came up to me and asked if I was a "fan" of Obama's. I was wearing an athletic shirt that had "Obama 08" on it. He said the whole redisrtibution of wealth thing and give all the money to to poor people. He used the word Socialist. I said that I was not doing so hot and that Bush was a total failure. I said I also did not aprove of the U.S. invading another country without a serious threat to the U.S.
Then I got my lunch and found a seat. One latino lady said "nice shirt" and three African American hostesses gave me high fives for the shirt. :)
