I'm alternating between being excited, hopeful, nervous, near tears and grinning like an idiot. I'm doing the nervous eating thing. I may gain 5 pounds before the election results come in. I think I might start drinking soon, just to calm myself down.

Not much to do but wait. See if you can find something to do.
I feel the same way.

4. The only thing I'm nervous about... |
|
...(and it makes me nervous enough!) is that I want this to be a BIG win! I'm dying to see 350+ electoral votes, +10% popular vote, 60+ senate seats! I'll be up all night even if it's clear by 8:00 Obama has won.
Yes, just an Obama win of any sort will make me pretty happy, but after eight years of Bush I'm craving a landslide, and I'm going to be on edge until we get it!

He told a skeptical guy a long time ago he was certain he was going to win.
In a few hours he'll be right.

By time the results start coming in my house will be immaculate. I've cleaned the bathrooms, vaccuumed, washed everything I can get my hands on, mopped the floors. Now I've started cooking.
I am a nervous wreck. Had to have my son who lives in NYC calm me down. He was walking to vote and called. I told him what a wreck I was. He said, "Mother, Obama should win. This is not 2004." I felt better for about 15 minutes.

I even cleaned the closet in the guestroom. Just lots of nervous energy that had to go somewhere, might as well have done something useful.
Our homes will look good for the coming holiday season at least. :hi:

12. I'm a little nervous also. |

I'm more nervous than usual. I'm spending few minutes here and then getting my buffet table of Subway coldcut sandwiches + meat ball sub, Spinach dip + chips, cookies, soda, wine. I also have an small fried apple pie. Got to have that pie!!! Hehehehe. I have to get that setup and do someother things.
I eat at 7:30. I may not eat it all tonight but it will calm my nerves. At 7:00 is when the fun/nervousness really starts. I'll be on the edge of my seat.
CAMPAIGN OFFICE BUFFET SPREAD BEGINS AT 7:30 Mmmmmmmm. Hehehehehehehe.
TV will be loud and my pc will have 2 windows and 15 tabs to get all the numbers and news. :) CAN'T WAIT!!!!!! :)
