I'm on my lunch break from working in rural NC

Figured I would post on DU how things were going.

Real quick, there's been rain off and on all day, lots of wind, mostly mist instead of a full rain.

Amazing, earth-rocking turnout early on, really tapered off starting around noon. 90 minute wait for those that got there early, only about a 15 minute wait when I left.

County's a conservative one with a LOT more Democrats than Republicans though. Response has been very good, lots of excitement even in the rain/wind/cold.

Very nice Republicans working outside the polling places too. Almost freakishly nice. I think they're trying to make nice with us so they can trick people into thinking that their candidates are really Democrats too. :)
