Our poll watchers are reporting a record turnout in Indy's west side.
Maybe just anecdotal at this time but Speedway High School which usually has 200-250 voters for the entire day is reporting 600+ with 90 minutes until the polls close.

Other area precincts are reporting similar numbers.

5. Gary Post Tribune say turnout is heavy.
Don't have the link right now.

They are also on Chicago time, one hour behind the rest of the state so we don't expect their returns before 8 or 9 eastern. They should be very strong dem.

4. If you are in line, they have to let you vote.
But, yeah, you have to be in line before the polls close.

8. well, that's good I guess - hope people know the cutoff and don't give up...
and maybe some people can let others (elderly, people with kids, people who need to get home earlier) cut in line.

10. Do you want to be the one who gets to tell all those people in line to
turn around and go home?

Didn't think so.

11. certainly not - but I assume some official has to stand at the end of the line
or something - maybe put up one of those "sorry, lane closed" signs from the grocery store.
