KUDOS to XM Satellite Radio for the P.O.T.U.S. Channel 130
This has been every political junky's dream:

All politics, all the time.
24/7.
For over one year.
Focusing on nothing other than the election of the new President of the United States (and, currently, important Senate and House seats).

Who would'a thunk?

What a brilliant, innovative, creative idea.

I hope somebody from XM sees that we appreciate them!

I, for one, wish they would consider continuing this channel, at least until the inauguration.

10. I love the conference calls, too. That was probably my favorite aspect of the
channel.

12. another fave was Obama speaking to educators
and using his Harvard verbiage.. a clue to how he must have to downsize his words in speeches to an 8th grade level...not the REAL Obama...he showed how brilliant he is in real life.

3. Amen. And I'm sure it will continue in some updated incarnation.
They're still proving that post-merger they'll be good citizens, and I think showing how much public affairs programming they do will be part of that pitch.

11. Thank you for reminding me. This is true, and I should have
mentioned it.

Isn't there a free emergency channel too? I think so, and they did great coverage of the recent hurricanes.

6. Yep! It was a damn good idea!
When they announced it, I thought it was a "risky" move, but since this has turned into the most exciting, most historic election ever...well, clearly someone at XM had her thinking cap on!
