Wow...

I'll bet it's going 6, 7, 8-1 for Obama...

1. Is Central Florida
considered the red or blue area of the state?

8. I Live Across The State In Sarasota County & Just Came Back From
being a POLL Watcher! The greeter outside just told me he's getting LOTS of "thumbs up" for Obama! My precinct has many older people, but good turn out even here!

I voted early and there were long lines even in this VERY RED Katherine "Cruella" Harris County!! Obama's Rally here had 12,000 in attendance! John McCain's here at "almost" 4,000!! Living in this county for many years we've NEVER had a National candidate visit us!! I'm almost SURE he's going to win this COUNTY and that's phenomenal.... SUPER BIG!!

If he doesn't win here, it will be VERY close from what I'm seeing!!

4. UCF is located in Orange County (Orlando, FL)
The county is definitely Democratic now with 230,000 D's to 170,000 R's and a total registration of around 600,000.

The school is supposedly fairly conservative but it is hard to say with this election, I think they will break 60 to 40 for Obama at UCF from my impression of it. (I used to work just off UCF's campus for about 4 years in the research park).

6. It's not a trivial task to do that.
The machines would have to be reprogrammed for a different precinct etc. The risk of a screw up is non-trivial.

7. And 20 minutes away in Maitland, Florida also in Central Florida
I breezed in and I breezed out like Christopher Walken dancing in that Fatboy Slim video.
I was SO happy and everyone was SO friendly and they laughed at my jokes and I'm in freaking Florida.

Black woman, about 70 years old manning the official roll book.

Her: "Name please?"
Me: "Hi! how are you!"
Her: "Well hello Mr. Hi Howareyou!"

It was all downhill from there.
I VOTED!

And I walked out into the parking lot singing this:
Obama, yo mama, Obama, new pajamas, Obama...
I'm so stupid.
But, I'm happy too!
