Cool. At my polling place, my 12 year old son was allowed to "vote".

Cool. At my polling place, my 12 year old son was allowed to "vote".
Had a bunch of booths set up just for kids.

The amendment was "Should there be a law requiring mandatory recycling?"

That's the first time I've seen something like that and I like it.

What a great idea! Maybe it will get kids excited about the voting process and more will actually vote when they turn 18.

I love that. Gets them excited about voting at an early age. Did they get a "I Voted" sticker as well? I bet kids would get a kick out of that.

7. That's a great idea.
I read some research that showed one way to improve the youth vote turnout was to teach young people how to vote before they turn 18, i.e., how to register, how to find your polling place, and how to use the voting machines.

10. Rural MN. I live in unorganized territory. I can't imagine a major urban area being able to do
this but it was cool.

I took my 4 year old daughter with me today. They gave her an English I voted sticker and a Spanish Yo voté one, too.
