How many times have you cried today? |
|
I cried this morning as I payed a bill. There was a man who was discussing Medicaid and how it didn't cover nearly enough of his bills. Then as I was listening to Thom Hartman I heard a story about an Obama Canvasser who visited an Oregon man who was disabled and didn't receive his ballot. She phoned it to election officials and within an hour they had an Obama rep driving 40 minutes to take his a release form, then he drove it back to get the ballot, and was going to bring it back to the man. Then I overheard a conversation between my 3 year old to her 8 yr old sister and the 3 yr/old as her if she liked Barack Obama and they both agreed he was nice.;-) Such a great day in America!!!

This is embarassing, but I've cried EIGHT times today. |
|
I'm a wreck. My husband has been deployed for nearly 14 and a half months, I am traumatized from 2000 and 2004, I just learned that hubby might make it home in as little as 8 days......the Rethugs are up to dirty tricks again....
Yeah, I've cried 8 times today.
And I'm not done yet.

11. If you can't understand why people get emotional then maybe something is wrong with you. |
|
It is beyond politics. Where have you been the past eight years?

8. I cried this morning when I saw Obama's tears for his grandmother... |
|
I cried when I voted because of how much I believed in the person I was voting for...
I cried reading the stories of people voing with their children there to share it with them...
And, I got my tissues ready to cry a lot more tonight - out of happiness...

to canvassing after getting a sandwich and there was a woman on the corner of a very busy intersection with an Obama sign and people were honking and it made me cry. I am so hopeful and worried.
