Me, I went at about 3:30pm today here in southern Cobb County, Georgia and had ZERO line! None.

Of course Cobb County had a BIG early voting turn out with 3 to 6 hour lines due to the fact that for early voting, Cobb County, with a population of over a 1/2 MILLION people, makes everyone who wants to use early voting vote at a single, very rural, southern Cobb County services building. I did early voting in 2004 and waited 3 1/2 hours in the rain, so this year I just did election day voting and like I said, had zero line.

Btw, I have almost zero confidence that my ballot will be counted fairly by the Diebold Corporation here in Georgia, so if you see any funny or sudden changes in vote totals for the votes in Georgia, feel free to raise hell.

1. 7:00 am, normally poll workers outnumber voters here by 2:1 at any
given time...NOT TODAY! Great turnout! It was 72 and sunny here in south central MN...and at the local Obama field office, the VOLUNTEERS were standing in line, waiting for seats and available phone lines!!
What a great problem!!

5. Massive turnout in North Conway NH
Non stop. Probably close to 600 new registered voters (we can register on election day here). Hour long line eary this morning when the polls opened, then smooth sailing the rest of the day. Lots and lots of young voters. I saw lots of people I canvassed who told me they were voting for Obama. Mad rush between 5 and 6 pm, mostly 20 year olds.

We have a population of approx 9,000. As of 4 pm, over 3,000 had voted. We have stacks of absentee ballots still to be scanned. I left at 6, the polls close at 7. They will be counting til maybe 9 or 10. I have never ever seen anything like this in all the years I lived here.

8. Small rural precinct in W PA
I took my octogenarian parents over about 10:30. The line wasn't too long but definitely much higher turnout than in the past. Most everyone was happy and excited. The nice thing was seeing 20 somethings working the polls, someone needs to take over for the older poll workers.

Anyway, that's three more votes for Obama.

Shock of my life, My SO voted for Obama today instead of Barr, who my SO was thinking of supporting.

11. Vista (San Diego) 7:15am - busy but no wait time
there were about 10 booths setup, all of which were steadily occupied while I was there, but I didn't see anyone have to wait more than 30 seconds for one to open up.. although it was raining pretty hard so it might have been more crowded otherwise

They had at least twice as many booths as 2006 or 2004.

I don't know, but I think I walked out of the booth to my car with a smile on my face the whole time! Whatever I was doing it felt good.

5 in San Francisco, 2 in Palo Alto (I voted several weeks ago). 6 of them had long lines this morning - the other was inside an apartment complex so I couldn't tell.

14. 10:30 a.m., as busy as I've ever seen
I live in a small town and I never had to wait before. Had to wait 15 minutes. They had already crossed my name off the list, I guess when my mom voted. We have similar names. I just had to fill out this form and then I voted.

...advantage of living in a small town, I guess.

and he helped me out. It is my friend's uncle. He told me all I had to do was fill out this form, which I did, and then I went and voted.

16. Bellevue, WA
Voted this morning, no wait. No e-machines, just paper ballots. Unfortunately, they chose this day to do road work RIGHT IN FRONT of the polling place! Other than that, zero problems.
