And the republicans saturated the airways with their trash,
especially the last week or so of the campaign. I'm in Illinois but I get some of your stations, and I know I got sick of seeing their ads with the little bit I watched them.

My grandson and I got kicked out of the District Homeschool Assn because we supported Obama. I'm going to call them up when I get back to see if they're all living in their root cellars.

27. Come on my friend, from what I read about Kentucky in history
It's not very liberal and the knuckle draggers rule. Btw, isn't this the state that has the creation museum? Sorry if I'm wrong, I tend to blow off where the crazies put their crazy shit as I sure don't want to visit one of those places, hell I would either get stoned or burned at the stake for rolling on the floor laughing my ass off.

it hasnt always been knuckle draggers.
but yes, northern kentucky is where the 'museum' is located...

dont be afraid to come here, because so long as u dont get political with people they are pretty friendly.

the natural beauty of this state and the fine parks and outdoor activities will keep me here until im dead and gone.

we arent all uneducated and afraid of black people, believe that.

mind you, democrats out number republicans by a pretty good margin in kentucky...

but its very uphill. We're somewhat flaky and will probably go with Obama in 2012. I feel like my personal circle is doing WAY better. Even my most wingnut friendly friend voted Barr. I don't think I know anyone personally that doesn't sit on a board that voted McCain.

61. I hate to say it, but....
It's not that KY is staunchly a red state, they went for Clinton in both '92 and '96. Metro areas in Lexington and Louisville always go for the Dem. Unfortunately, the hillbillies combined with the the Catholic stronghold in N. Ky have influenced the last few elections. Also, Kentucky is a very white state, and the ugly head of racism is representative of the current numbers for McLame.
