it hasnt always been knuckle draggers. but yes, northern kentucky is where the 'museum' is located...
dont be afraid to come here, because so long as u dont get political with people they are pretty friendly.
the natural beauty of this state and the fine parks and outdoor activities will keep me here until im dead and gone.
we arent all uneducated and afraid of black people, believe that.
mind you, democrats out number republicans by a pretty good margin in kentucky...

but its very uphill. We're somewhat flaky and will probably go with Obama in 2012. I feel like my personal circle is doing WAY better. Even my most wingnut friendly friend voted Barr. I don't think I know anyone personally that doesn't sit on a board that voted McCain.

It's not that KY is staunchly a red state, they went for Clinton in both '92 and '96. Metro areas in Lexington and Louisville always go for the Dem. Unfortunately, the hillbillies combined with the the Catholic stronghold in N. Ky have influenced the last few elections. Also, Kentucky is a very white state, and the ugly head of racism is representative of the current numbers for McLame.
