15. This is Looking Very Good! |
|
Florida is actually looking good considering where the votes are coming in from. It looks like we get the South Florida voters this time by a wide margin.

This is 150,000 vote lead so this is substantial. There is still the Pasco county question but assuming everything else is right that is still a lead for Obama.

Florida is getting away from McCain. This is already as large as Bush's victory over Kerry in 2004.

Even Tallahassee and Jacksonville have so far voted for Obama. Of course, Orlando, too. ON EDIT: And Tampa---which I thought was supposed to be a red area.
Basically the rural areas are going for McCain.

But hopefully it won't hold up. For those who don't know, in order for a constitutional amendment to pass in Florida, 60% of voters must vote yes.

43. 19% of vote counted (0% in Palm Beach), going 2:1 for Obama. GREAT... |
|
This is from the NY Times... Obama is at 52% state-wide with 49% of the vote counted, and that's with the large Miami area underrepresented in the count. No Buchanan vote this year!
