I was a total pessimist in my projections, and Obama still wins.
as long as he gets VA... that's the ticket.

23. Yep. I'm not disappointed here in the great southern state of NC!
Dole is gone. And even if Obama doesn't take the state, we made McLoser spend time and money here that he didn't wanna spend.

I'm not disappointed at all.

11. the internals had GA for Obama
if a certain percentage of the 400,000 newly registered voters GOTV.

this is very disappointing. We had so much support for Obama here.

We have to be suspicious due to Karen Handel's horrific handling -- her purging of hundreds of thousands of voters, etc. And we had the Diebold flipping device -- per Spoonamore.

21. The big Georgia counties haven't come in yet.
http://sos.georgia.gov/elections/election_results/2008_1104/001.htm

Those are Dem strongholds. The ones posted right now are the loser racist counties, for the most part.

31. CNN's projecting a McCain win in Georgia, but
I don't see how they can do that with Chatham totally out, DeKalb and Fulton mostly out, and even MY county totally out. I think their projection is premature.

14. Today, being from the south, I'm so proud!
I think we are going to take Fl and Ga. My SO is working the polls in GA and I haven't heard from him yet which means there are still people at his polling place voting even though the polls have closed. And he is working in a heavily black poll location. I'd think there are alot more like that occuring.

35. The lines were HUGE in Cobb today.
A friend of mine showed up hours early to vote, and by the time the doors opened 500 people were in line. There were hundreds in line at 7 AM at the precinct near where I work. These are both in Cobb.

I'm sure there are plans in progress to crush 'em into small bits.

Oh, and our LOVELY Rethuglican Secretary of State, the Voter Suppressionist in Chief. Georgia results cannot be trusted until the machines are gone.

36. If the South could secede from the Union,
and I don't include Florida, they would be a 3rd world country in 25 years.

They contribute the least per capita.

They overwhelmingly voted for Bush twice.

They have the highest percent of people who are both the most certain of their opinions, and least informed - the so called "peseudo-certainty", aka being a fucking moron.
