1. We need some Democratic judges.
We haven't had any Democratic judges in Harris Co. since 1996 or so. Trial OR appellate.

2. Too early to call. Though I know that Texas will probably go for McCain, it would make me supremely
happy if my home state stays at least too close to call for a while. If it turned blue, I can't even imagine my elation.

3. Even some Congress Critter changes and judge swaps are nice!
:D

It helps the fuckers down there not be able to get away with as much and sets up the pins for next time.

This is music to my ears.....

6. I'm working in TX right now....
Working with lots of people from Austin/College Station area all Obama people- no surprise there. HOWEVER, I've been working in the Rio Grand Valley and South of Raymondville area all of a sudden I start seeing Obama signage, t-shirts and bumper stickers. Could've knocked my socks off the day I noticed that!

18. You're missing the point

John Kerry only got 38% of the vote in 2004. The fact that Barack Obama is only five points behind in Texas is a big fucking deal.

19. I don't think it's quite ready this year, but we could take it for President Obama's reelection.

12. My "Texans for Obama" shirt don't lie!
:bounce:

Every time I've gone to the Austin Obama HQ, it's been PACKED with volunteers, and today it took me several passes through their parking lot just to find a space. We're definitely going to surprise them!
