There are no more Republicans in the Northeast!

... at least in Congress (would love for the Republican voters to pack up and fucking leave as well, frankly). Just heard Shays is gone. I live in the Northeast; born and raised here and am proud of my home territory. I live in Mass and it's been a pleasure for quite some time to not have a single Republican permitted to call any shots for me - my state senator and rep are Democrats; obviously Kerry, Kennedy and my local Congressional rep are Dem as well.

To think that now I can drive several states - hundreds of miles from Maine - and not pass through a single piece of land where ANY fucking Republican holds an ounce of weight in Congress - magnificent. Almost as good as the forthcoming Obama win.
