my red county reported its final results.

Bush won by 10 points.
McCain won this time by 3 points.

I am so disappointed, but do you think we did a good job? I can't help but feel sad about this on this awesome night.

McCain lost a LOT compared to Bush, so people are catching on everywhere. Just taking longer in some places. :) :hug:

6. Electoral votes aren't allocated by county.

McCain winning your county by a smaller margin than Bush did makes the overall state total that much closer. So you did contribute. Florida is likely to be very close, but Obama is leading. If your state goes blue, it may be by the margin your county changed. You may have lost your county, but by minimizing the loss, you may have won the state.
