OK McCain tried to heal things. What about Palin? |
|
McCain may have the grace to come out and try to sooth his base and appeal to them to heal what they can of the rift in certain areas of this nation.
But most of it is not his base. It's Palin's.
So where is the venue for Palin to do the same? It doesn't exist. VP candidates don't give concession speeches.
So while we all just wish we never had to see her again, and whereas we don't really care to acknowlege her as a leader of any sort -- we have to ask her back to the stage, if she is willing, to bring the nutballs down to a smooth landing.

1. Ain't gonna happen, I'm afraid. She |
|
is NEVER gonna do that, quite the opposite, frankly. The old McCain came out tonight, which was good to see and I really do feel badly for him. But don't expect anything remotely resembling graciousness from Palin. She doesn't know the meaning of the word and she will be a very sore loser.
