If McCain had run his campaign with the same tenor of his Concession speech,
it might have been a different election.

Interesting that Palin got about 10 seconds of recognition.

McCain even owned up to the failure of his campaign, putting the blame squarely upon his own shoulders, which is perhaps the most respectable thing he's done since the beginning of this campaign season. He showed flashes of the John McCain that I thought I actually admired and respected once. It's a shame that he chose to run this time as such a mean-spirited asshole, catering to the worst and most disagreeable elements of his party.
