You can't run a campaign of hate then pretend it didn't happen
Sorry John but you called your opponent and the parts of the country voting for him unAmerican. You refused to look him in the eye like a man. You called him a terrorist. Allowed people at your rallies and surrogates call him a terrorist. You then told us that he was a socialist. Basically letting the last week of the campaign turn into 50s McCarthyism. Pretending on election night all that didn't happen is BS. What because you said a few nice things I'm suppose to forget you put yourself above this country and tried to label those that opposed you as non-Americans? I won't forget nor should this country forget because we can't let politicians run on hate, fear and baseless labeling ever again. McCain was the worst of politics for 1 1/2 months now. One night will never erase that.

6. "Hate" is what got the repuke base out to vote.. nothing else.
hate is the glue that holds that party together. I left that party in 1996 when it FINALLY dawned on me that the DEMOCRATS are the party of compassion and acceptance for ALL americans and the other party does nothing but HATE those who aren't exactly like them.

I'm so damn proud to be a democrat tonight!!!! So damn proud to have voted for Barack Obama!!!!

8. I agree
Even the rude mob at his "concession" speech were upset. They want validation of their hate; he gave it to them for the past 2 months. Note how the mob went nuts at the end when he spoke about Failin'. He is still a loser in my opinion. :nopity:

Edited on Tue Nov-04-08 11:42 PM by Gabi Hayes
apologize, the way he did on tape for using the confederate flag issue

apologize, the way he did for being responsible for the demise of his first marriage

apologize, the way he did for his role in the Keating 5 Scandal

he's done it all through his career, cynically calculating that his abject behavior would seem sincere

he does NOT have a sincere bone in his body, and I'll never believe a word he says, even if he apologizes for the way he ran this filthy excuse for a presidential campaign

EVERYTHING he's done since he became a "pilot" in the Navy has been done with the calculus of forging a career that would eclipse that of his grandfather and father

the myth of the hero, the man of honor, is one of the most ridiculous fantasies ever perpetrated on a benight populace, right up there with that of the liberal media

suck on it John

suck on it hard, and reflect on what a poor excuse for a MAN you are

I think it was sad because they were clearly not giving the reactions he wanted. It's horrible way for McCain to end it. Giving a pretty good speech to an audience that wanted blood.

ASS.

I don't know how long it will take these people to realize how much they were played by the McStain campaign.

I can't wait for life to start improving for them all to watch the dissonance and disconnect.

It's BETTER? But but but but he's a terrorist--a socialist.....

46. I agree, but ...
I remain astounded that the Republic Party gave up power at all. I expected either a stolen election or martial law. I am deeply impressed that it seems they are willing to pass the torch.

I guess we bought them off with $850 billion. Still, McCain could have declared the results illegitimate. Bush could have declared himself dictator for life (until the election was decided--for McCain, of course). Instead, McCain legitimized Obama's victory, and for that I thank him.

The United States is a LIBERAL Country.

I'd boo someone you painted as Usama Bin Stalin as well.

McCain should've spent a lot more time dispelling and taking back all this crap in order to heal the Country.
