Should Plouffe succeed Dean as DNC chief?

Should Plouffe succeed Dean as DNC chief?
Assuming Dean wishes to step aside? I feel like Plouffe can truly continue the 50 state strategy that Dean helped found.

Or is he needed in the White House? I imagine he'll be the #1 pointman for Obama's '12 reelection bid.

2. Dean helped make this victory possible, he played a critical role in it.
i'd hate to see him leave the DNC.

3. I like that idea. If Howard Dean retires, then David Plouffe should be...
...the next DNC Chair.

Plouffe in the White House might be mixing politics and policy too much.

4. Plouffe would be a good choice
But I hope Dean stays on. The second wave is starting to hit the old FDR populist voting blocks.

People want change and are tired of the old machine who ignores them.
