5. Keeping things in perspective
Last night Nate wrote that if Obama were to exceed polling expectation in any state, it would be Georgia. That could not have been more wrong.

Georgia always polls decisively more Democratic than it votes.

Nate did a great job but I was happy he was wrong there. My second largest wager of this election was McCain to win Georgia.
