Senator McCain is no Bush/Palin. He deserves some modicum of respect for holding himself
above most Republicans' behavior and poisonous hatred. If all Republicans were like him this country would be a far better place.

I tip my hat in respect to you John McCain. (Not your psycho wife, your horrible running mate, or any of your extremely hate-filled supporters.) There is no shame. You lost to a far superior man/leader/party/ideology...

I post this to show that I have learned the lesson of respect from President-elect Obama and encouraging my better angels as from Vice President Biden's example.

17. Exactly..he's been a lying piece of shit with his bridzilla at his side ..
this whole time and now all these creepy posts are instantly forgetting that.

Wait until the next time he has a chance to stab Obama in the back.

4. Seconded.
McCain showed decency and character in his concession. It's sad, because he is too good for the crowd of knuckle-draggers he foolishly allowed to influence his campaign. His ideas and values are wrong and deserved to be rejected, but I don't hate him personally.

Palin and what she represents were his downfall.

or were you asleep during most of his vicious, degrading, meretricious, HATE-filled, race/terror/fear mongering, guilt-by-association, McCarthyesque campaign?

until he ABJECTLY apologizes to Obama, and the American people, I hope his skin rots off

8. explain to me the 1st debate when his contempt for Obama prevented him from LOOKING at him
that showed me McCain character more than anything else.

And picking Palin? YOU RESPECT THAT?????

He gave a sweet little speech tonight but that doesn't hide who he is. That was a good speech writer.
