On this night of joy, I hear no mention of Howard Dean. And that makes me sad.

Seriously. I have been flipping back and forth between ABC, NBC, CBS, and BBC (don't ask me to watch Fox), and not a single pundit has even mentioned Howard Dean, much less given him any credit for our party's phenomenal victory.

Generally speaking, we think very highly of the Good Doctor here on DU, and there have been a plethora of threads thanking him for his service to our party, but what's up with the pundits? Are they too stupid to know how crucial Dean's influence has been on this outcome? Or did I miss someone ... anyone ... on the MSM giving him the credit he deserves.

Not to take anything away from the President-Elect, who is the best I've seen in my lifetime, but you would think some pundit might show Howard Dean a little respect!

2. That's nice to hear.
Still absolute silence about him on all the other stations.

Thanks for the response. :)

3. Chris Matthews made a big fuss over him
He called him on his humility...saying that he was greatly responsible for Obama's success...Dean said they won because Obama was a great candidate. So humble.

Matthews also sort of put it that Dean was John the Baptist, and Obama was --------..

4. We Minnesotans talked about him at our gathering
as we waited breathlessly for the results.
