8. I think it's the Hoosier thing ...

I've always been enamored with high school basketball. (High School I attended had Bertha Frank Teague, who is in the Basketball Hall of Fame ... one of those responsible for starting and spreading women's basketball.) Anyway ... has to be something there. I have a hard time thinking of Indiana as a "red" state.

'Course, I have a hard time thinking of Oklahoma as a red state too considering it was at one time the heart of the socialist/Wobbly movement. But anyway ...

Go Indiana.

And North Carolina is looking pretty good too.
