1. Have no idea. I felt like I was watching the end of an epic movie though.

7. Thank you so much!
OMG, I haven't seen that movie yet. So, it's been driving me crazy, since they played it at the Democratic Convention and I couldn't find it anywhere. :bounce:

5. youtube has some vids with the songs in them
I usually strip the vid part to make mp3s.

I think after the first minute or so, this may be the part we heard?

9. NYT says it was The Patriot by John Williams
Edited on Wed Nov-05-08 01:16 AM by RamboLiberal
Name That Tune | 12:54 a.m. Ah, one mystery solved. The music swelling in the background was “The Patriot,” composed by John Williams, reports our diligent colleague, Jeff Zeleny.

From the Mel Gibson film. Bet RW Mel wouldn't approve.

10. NYTs is wrong, but....
...that sure is inspiring music, too. And it would have been just as appropriate. Lots of RWers are coming around to the Democratic Party platform this year. So, why not Mel? ...if not already, we're going to have a chance to prove it to him. YEAH!!!!
