...was fabricated by some California pollster who called the race wrong and needed to come up with a story to cover his ass. A couple of top campaign officials on both sides of that election were interviewed, and both men acknowledged that there simply was no such effect. If there was a primary reason for Bradley's unanticipated loss, it was that the pro-gun voter turn out in the rural areas of California was much higher than expected.
