1. He really was. He won't get the credit, but he was the only one on
television that relayed reality each and everyday throughout.

13. It was very noticeable - the silence that occurred after Gregory's remarks
and then we heard the BIG announcement made by Keith Olbermann. I was surprised MSNBC did this, but obviously it was the right thing to do. I know of no other commentator that stuck his or her neck out (repeatedly) during this contest -- not to mention the Bush* years themselves -- as he did to tell the American people the literal truth. If it had gone the other way, he would probably would have been unemployed in the next four years (except as a sports commentator).
