Colorado really looks good in BLUE!
Overwhelmingly for Obama, Mark Udall goes to the Senate despite the RNC and 527s spending hundreds of thousands on ads calling him a BOULDER LIBERAL (I kid you not) and Marilyn Musgrave out on her fat, homophobic, fundie, Bush-Lovin' butt.

I'm feeling pretty good about my state right now.

4. That embarassment is finally out of here...
She pulled out all the stops in her campaign. Even had Markey investigated by the Feds. I loved it in the final weeks when she and Shaffer's ads went from attacks on their opponents to attacks on "a Democratic majority" and how we need them for "checks and balances".

2. You should feel good!
After the 2002 midterms Colorado had a republican Gov, 2 republican US Senators, and a 5-2 republican advantage in the US House, and both state houses controlled by the GOP. (Not to mention Bush winning the state in 2000.)

3. It feels good to have that Bush Rubber-Stamp Wayne Allard gone
One of the most ineffective Senators of all time but he kept getting elected thanks to the rural parts of CO. Times have changed. They had their time and blew it big time. Tonight people finally voted their pocketbook.

10. Strickland would have won
if it hadn't been for a good republican year in 2002. I thought, according to the polls Allard was going down six years ago. The sunday before the election, most pundits thought Strickland would win it. How did Allard pull it off?

6. I'm tired and my eyes are going to be swollen tomorrow.
But I'm the happiest I've ever been on election night in Colorado. I'm so glad Musgrave got her a** handed to her tonight. I knew Udall would take it so I wasn't as concerned about that. I'll look at the ballot measures tomorrow.

For tonight, I just want to savor the moment.

8. Yes yes yes!
The results from Colorado have made me cry tonight. After growing up there as the only liberal child I knew, this has been huge.
