I'll give McCain credit where it's due for his concession speech |
|
It was fine and gracious. Certainly moreso than some Republicans I've seen.

Very gracious concession speech. No love lost for the troll wolf killer though. Smell ya later, Moose Congeniality.

2. Yeh, he done good. Too bad all those trogs kept wrecking it with juvenile displays. |
|
That was the formidable John McCain. If that had been on display all along it would have been a real fight.
It looked to me as though he finally said "F*** it. It doesn't matter what these people think anymore."
Pity he didn't think that four months ago. He might still have a few more rags of integrity to pull around himself as he wanders off into the sunset.

He was very gracious in defeat, so I must give him that. He was certainly much more gracious than a lot of his supporters that were with him.
I hope he was genuine in his stated desire to work with Obama to find solutions for America. I don't hold out much hope of that, but I'm keeping an open mind.

7. I was amazed. I yelled out in the bar where we were watching: 'Where was THIS guy during |
|
the campaign?!?' It was statesman-like - like the McCain I thought he was 4-5 years ago. Amazing.

I think he sold out to win the election. Dont be shocked if he works with Obama in a fairly bipartisan manner.
He can either go the way of ideologue assholes like Phil Graham or he can help make a difference and work to help this nation with PRESIDENT OBAMA...
its McCains choic.
