Bachmann I kind of expected because the 6th District is so backward and wingnutty. But Franken was a real disappointment. Coleman is an unprincipled weasel and he ran some of the sleaziest TV ads I've ever seen. I guess a lot of people believed the smears. Sad.

7. It's Jesse Ventura's Independence party. They ran spoilers on all the major races.

None of them were ever going to win, but they run anyway, and split off the 10% or so of anti-Republican voters that Dems need to win.

Happened in Bachmann's race, Al's race, and Ashwin Madia's race.

I don't think it's been called for Coleman yet and Al's been closing. There are still a lot of votes from Duluth (Dem area) that haven't been counted. There's still hope he could pull it off.

Bachmann just pisses me off. I'm in the 6th district. I'm so tired of this RED district. When are they going to wake up??? Maybe she will continue to make an ass of herself for the next 2 years and then we can get a candidate that will give her the boot!
